Proposal of Eric to Erin

The Proposal of Eric Lloyd Sellars to Erin Sellars took place on July 11, 2008, in the afternoon, on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Event

Eric proposed to Erin on Postage Stamp Beach (a secluded spot on the island) during a family vacation with the Baker family. The trip was originally organized to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Erin's parents, David Baker and Linda Baker, who graciously shared their celebration for the proposal.

Eric had brought the engagement ring with him on the trip, having purchased it beforehand with the help of his parents from Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

Aftermath

The proposal led to the couple's wedding on January 9, 2009, in Austin, Texas.
