Erin Sellars

Erin Sellars is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz and the wife of Eric Lloyd Sellars.

Early Life and Education

Erin was born in San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of David Baker and Linda Baker. She lived in Nacogdoches, Texas for a period during her childhood before moving to Austin, Texas in the 8th grade. She attended Westlake High School.

Her higher education journey included attending DePaul University in Chicago for a year and a half before returning to Austin. After meeting Eric, she moved to Houston, Texas, where she attended Houston Community College (HCC) and the University of Houston. She ultimately earned her undergraduate degree in History (with a focus on European History) from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz) during the family's time in California.

Career and Community

Prior to completing her degree, Erin worked for the home construction company Toll Brothers in Austin. Following her graduation, she worked in the field of Education for a period.

Since the birth of her children, Baker and Maxyn, she has primarily been a stay-at-home mother. Currently, she is heavily involved in the community at Westlake Country Club, where she helps manage and run the intra-club tennis and pickleball leagues.

Marriage and Family

Erin met Eric Lloyd Sellars at Fado's Irish Pub on 4th Street in Austin, Texas following Eric's graduation from the University of Texas. Their meeting occurred when two groups of friends socialized together at the pub.

The couple married on January 9, 2009.
