Meeting of Eric and Erin

The Meeting of Eric Lloyd Sellars and Erin Sellars occurred in December 2006 in Austin, Texas, shortly after Eric's graduation from the University of Texas at Austin.

The Night at Fadó's

The two first encountered each other at Fadó Irish Pub on 4th Street. Erin was out with a bachelorette party, and the groups connected because her friend Chrissie Detrich was an acquaintance of Eric's friend, Ryan George. Eric and Ryan had been college friends at the University of Texas at Austin.

Wii Tennis and the Phone Number

After the bar, Eric convinced the group to come back to his apartment at 1007 South Congress to play Nintendo Wii tennis. Though the apartment was not particularly near campus, Eric had lived there in the year following his graduation. Eric evidently made a impression; before the night ended, Erin left her phone number for him.

Aftermath

The two kept in touch over the following months and officially began dating the following year, in 2007. Chrissie later attended the Wedding of Eric and Erin in 2009.
