Everett Sellars

Everett Sellars (August 26, 1925 – December 16, 2006) was a World War II veteran and a career professional in the railway industry. For many decades, he and his wife Ruby Faye Sellars resided at 2800 Live Oak Dr in Mesquite, Texas.

Military Service

Everett served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service as a torpedo man during World War II.

Career and Faith

Everett spent his career in management with the Texas and Northern Railway, from which he retired in 1985. A man of deep faith, he was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland, Texas for over fifty years.

Everett married his wife, Ruby Faye Sellars, in 1948 in Daingerfield, Texas. Their home on 2800 Live Oak Dr served as the central location for family Christmas celebrations for their grandchildren, Eric Lloyd Sellars and Carrie Sellars.
